ADDRESSING PERSONAL ISSUES

Sometimes, a personal issue may be preventing you from thinking clearly about what it is you want from work. It may be that you are having difficulty developing your career because of the challenge of handling pressure or relationships at work.

Meetings may take place in addition to, or in place of, career counselling. One to six meetings of one hour are usually sufficient.

If you are uncertain whether to spend time addressing a personal issue in more depth than would be possible in career counselling, do talk this over first with one of our counsellors.

Note: our counsellors are trained and qualified in counselling and psychology. They are members of the British Psychological Society and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and receive professional supervision of their work.
